INGREDIENTS


METHOD
PRIOR TO SERVING

Pre-brew 2 teaspoons of Summer Tea Party Cocktail Tea in 250ml and chill. (Use 60ml-90ml for this recipe, and save the rest for later - chill in the fridge for up to 3 days).

AT TIME OF SERVING

Add The Curious Cabinet Strawberry Shrub Syrup, chilled tea and 30ml gin (or extra tea for an alcohol-free version) to a shaker with lots of ice. Shake well. Double Strain into a coupe glass. Serve.

Strawberry Shrub Gold Rush

 

We were thrilled to have our Strawberry Shrub Syrup featured in a cocktail by Aus Botanicals. Try this with your favourite Single Malt Whiskey, we recommend Blackwoods Distilling Co.

Here’s how to make it:

INGREDIENTS
60ml Single Malt Whiskey
30ml Strawberry Shrub Syrup
22.5ml lemon juice
60ml grapefruit juice
Ice


METHOD
Add all ingredients including ice to the cocktail shaker and give a really vigorous shake! Double strain into cocktail glass.

Garnish with a citrus rose.

Sit back and enjoy!

Strawberry Shrub & Ice Cream Float

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 shot The Curious Cabinet Strawberry Shrub Syrup

  • 5 shots soda water

  • Vanilla Ice cream

METHOD

Combine Stawberry Shrub with soda water in a glass. 

Top with ice cream, and gently stir with a straw. 

Watch the delicious bubbles fizz to the top. 

Garnish with a strawberry and a straw and spoon.

Strawberry, Spinach, Fetta & Walnut Salad

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 cups baby spinach (washed)

  • 1/2 cup mint leaves, removed from stalks

  • 2 cups strawberries halved and green tops removed

  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 1/4 cup toasted, diced walnuts

DRESSING

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1/4 cup Strawberry Shrub Syrup

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

METHOD

In a large bowl toss the spinach, mint, strawberries and walnuts.

In another small bowl whisk together all dressing ingredients.

Pour over the salad ingredients; toss to combine.

Sprinkle the feta over the top of salad.

Serve immediately.
